Category News

As a company defined by its people, getting to know everyone who makes us who we are, speaks to our personal, boutique and unique approach to property sales.

Introducing Pepita Mace, our property practitioner operating within the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, as she shares her unique experiences as a Hamilton Property Practitioner.

Describing the boutique experience

Hamiltons' is not just another real estate agency but a boutique firm that prides itself on offering personalised attention to each client. When describing what the Boutique experience means, I often think of four crucial phrases.

Exclusivity - This aligns with our reputation for excellence and our focus on providing exceptional service.

Tailored - emphasises our ability to adapt our service to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.

Personal attention to detail - This speaks to our commitment to providing a high level of service and ensuring that no detail is overlooked

A top-drawer experience emphasises the idea that Hamiltons is a top-tier firm that provides high-quality expertise to its clients. This phrase conveys the sense of luxury and exclusivity clients can expect when working with Hamiltons, further highlighting the company's unique approach to real estate success.

Describing Hamilton's growth throughout the years

As we look to the future, Hamiltons has its sights set on expanding its reach and providing a higher level of service to clients in top-tier suburbs in Cape Town. This represents an exciting opportunity for us to further establish ourselves as a leading boutique real estate agency in South Africa.

Our unique corporate culture

Hamiltons has cultivated a unique and supportive family structure focused on nurturing growth in a sophisticated and professional manner. This structure is built on a foundation of mutual respect, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence in all aspects of the business.

At the heart of this family structure is a culture of support and encouragement, where everyone is empowered to reach their full potential and contribute to the company's success. This approach is designed to foster growth and development in a way that is both sophisticated and effective, allowing everyone to improve and impress in their roles continuously.

What signature events, sales, or changes would you attribute Hamilton's success as a boutique agency to?

During one of my early sales experiences, I had the pleasure of working with a lovely English couple who had been house hunting with me all afternoon in Somerset. As the day ended, they finally decided to make an offer on one of the properties we had viewed. As we worked our way through the clauses of the OTP, I meticulously filled in all the necessary information. However, when signing the document, the couple suddenly hesitated and became unsure.

At that moment, I could have easily persuaded them to sign the offer, but instead, I chose to prioritise their feelings over the value of the sale. I suggested they sleep on it and sign the next day if they were still interested. The couple looked at each other, silently agreeing, and signed the next day. This experience taught me that building trust with clients by valuing their feelings over the value of a sale is crucial. Trust, when never broken, lasts forever.
