As part of our venture to expand our reach, offering customers our select boutique experience, we have opened a regional office based in this incredible town filled with French Huguenot historic buildings and resplendent views.
It has been quite a wait since the advent of lockdown protocols but with things going back to normal, Franschhoek is finally Celebrating Bastille after a two-year hiatus, on the 16th and 17th of July. Taking place on the main road of Franschhoek, with all things French-inspired, dress up in your finest red, white and blue, not forgetting your beret, as you soak in all that Franschhoek has to offer - great wines, delicious food, and superb hospitality.
The village's Main Road will be abuzz with activities, which include French-inspired street food offerings from the restaurants situated along the way. Grab freshly baked croissants, filled baguettes, Croque monsieurs, moules frites, or piping hot cinnamon-sugar pancakes as you take in the day's festivities. Channel your inner Marie Antoinette or Charles de Gaulle for the day by hiring a traditional Bastille Day costume. Franschhoek's local band will add to the festive vibe throughout the weekend and will be located at the Town Hall.
Not forgetting the region's superb wines, which will be served from two locations - Franschhoek Cellars and The Franschhoek Square - where you will get to sample wines from Franschhoek's Vignerons. What better excuse to stock up on wines for the winter season?
To avoid disappointment, pre-order your tasting glasses and wine coupons (eight coupons per person), at R180 per person, directly through Webtickets. Additional tasting coupons will be available to purchase.
