Anyone who's vaguely familiar with the world of wine will have heard of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Constantia. Join us as we explore South Africa's finest wine destinations.

1. Constantia Valley, South Africa

The lush Constantia valley rests in the heart of the Cape Town Southern suburbs on the slopes of the mountains that make up the Table Mountain National Park. Featuring sprawling vineyards and panoramic views of False Bay, wine has been produced in this area for over 300 years. The Constantia Valley boasts a great host of award-winning wines and vineyards, including Beau Constantia and Eagles Nest. Many of the older farms offer museum tours of their original farmhouses, as the Constantia Valley also happens to be the oldest wine-making region in the country (established in 1685). This area has become synonymous with premium, award-winning reds and whites, especially Sauvignon Blancs.

2. Stellenbosch Winelands, South Africa

Stellenbosch is the second oldest wine-producing region in South Africa. Over the years, it has become world-renowned for its exceptionally high-quality array of wines. With its stunning Cape Colonial architecture, an abundance of beautiful vineyards and some of the top restaurants in the country, Stellenbosch is a must-visit destination for any wine lover.
