Q: When looking for a property along the beautiful Atlantic Seaboard, which areas in particular would you recommend?
A: This all depends on the individual buyer's lifestyle requirements. Many of these areas offer different views, convenience factors, and ultimately different lifestyles. Whether a buyer is wanting to be in the hustle and bustle of the promenade and beachfront, or more secluded and higher up on the mountainside, our beautiful city has it all which makes it such an attractive destination for locals and internationals. Areas of the Atlantic Seaboard include: The V&A Waterfront, Granger Bay, Mouille Point, Green Point, Sea Point East and West, Three Anchor Bay and Bakoven, Clifton, Llandudno, Fresnaye and Bantry Bay, all of which offer some of the most spectacular real estate in the country with easy access to some of the world's finest beaches, My personal favourite areas to recommend would be Llandudno, Clifton, Fresnaye, and Bantry Bay.

A: You will find that the Atlantic Seaboard provides the cream of the crop when it comes to luxury property with a wide variety of options such as jaw-dropping mountainside homes, beachfront bungalows, new and older apartments blocks, gated estates and picture-perfect villas - ideal for your summer holidays - or stately old homes with old cape Dutch character.
Q: What areas are currently the most popular with buyers?
A: The most sought-after areas currently are Llandudno, Clifton, Bantry Bay, Fresnaye, Camps Bay, Sea Point, Green Point and the Waterfront which have experienced a good volume of sales transactions this year in their respective price brackets.
Q: What features set these areas apart from other neighbouring areas?
A: All of the suburbs I have mentioned offer some of the most spectacular and prestigious real estate in the country with easy access to some of the world's finest beaches including the white sands of Clifton beaches, the unspoilt boulders of Llandudno and the gorgeous stretches of the Camps Bay Promenade, and our own natural wonder of the world in our backyard:, Table Mountain. You will find it hard to beat this offering anywhere else in the world.
Q: What makes these areas great for young families, are there any good schools in the vicinity or nearby?
A: Parents of the Atlantic Seaboard are spoilt for choice when it comes to top schools offering the very best education for their children and these institutions all offer excellent learning opportunities. Most of these schools will be located a few minutes' drive away when staying on the Atlantic Seaboard and include Mainstream, niche and more traditional options are available: The Reddam and Curro Groups, Herzlia Jewish School, Bishops, Deutsche International School, Hout Bay International School, Camps Bay Pre-school, Preparatory and High Schools, Rondebosch Boys High School, as well as SACS, the oldest high school in the country are all located a short drive away when staying on the Atlantic Seaboard.
Q: In terms of lifestyle, what do these areas offer residents?
A: The Atlantic Seaboard truly is an outdoor lover's paradise with the mountain paths of Table Mountain National Park on your doorstep on one side and numerous beach and ocean activities on the other. The Sea Point Promenade, with its meandering paths along the shoreline from Granger Bay to Queens Road is a firm favourite with most residents out running, cycling, and walking before sunset over the sea, while the glistening sandy beach of Camps Bay is a summer haven, and a perfect place to catch a tan and take a refreshing dip in the ocean. A natural spring from Table Mountain feeds the stream running through it and there are several water features, including a lake. The paved pedestrian walkway along the Mouille Point and Sea Point beachfront offers unrivalled sea views and salt-laden sea air, revitalising the senses and encouraging a healthy outdoors lifestyle for residents. Sea Point Pavilion Swimming Pool
This landmark public swimming pool in Sea Point is a great place to do some laps and is situated right next to the sea, which it uses to fill the Olympic size pools. Other features include diving boards, lifeguards and a children's pool for the little ones to splash in.
Atlantic Beaches
For beach lovers, the Atlantic Seaboard offers it all from Blue Flag beaches to hidden gems and each curve of the coastline is lined with idyllic sunbathing and leisure spots. Expect a bird's eye view of the mountains and beaches as you glide along the thermals around Lions Head before landing on the sunset strip for lunch or sundowners.
Oudekraal Nature Reserve

Nightlife in Cape Town offers something for everyone. Locals and backpackers cruise the string of bars, restaurants and music clubs in Long Street, the rest of the CBD and Green Point.
