Perhaps one of fashion's most iconic decades, this winter will continue to emulate the style and colour selection of the Era. From blazed oranges with argyle and paisley textures to peppered olive tones, this trend is of little contention between men and women.

One of winter's more extravagant fabrics is a green, orange, or black velvet jacket. Paired with elegant, long-sleeve, ankle-grazing dresses with kitten heels, or wide-leg pants worn with combat boots. This fabric remains the foremost choice of wear this season, but is not just for the ladies. Velvet jackets for men have also made a comeback in recent years with black and navy options being most popular.

Not only do these burly yet sophisticated fabrics offer durability and style, but guard against the cold winter winds thanks to a dense material weave. Compared to standard brands, selvedge denim avoids the chemical washing process which balances rugged consistency with comfort. This gives them a raw appeal with the need to be "broke-in."

Here's one where it seems that the fashion norms have changed hands. Unicoloured overcoats with woolly textures and minimal detailing are this season's winter picks for men. For ladies, the puffer jacket has seen a return to vogue.
